Ten years ago, I had a small hobby.
I would talk with friends in Japan using Skype. I talked to my friends because I missed the wonderful time I spent in Japan and the interesting people I met while living there. Occasionally, I would fix their English. We laughed about how crazy the language English was.
I found it very fun to help my Japanese friends. One friend casually said that correcting people's English would probably be a good business for me because my style was very friendly and helpful. That I helped her learn and made is so much fun and interesting for her. So I did.

Initially, I had only four students, but rumors about me gradually spread and so I needed to hire another teacher to share my students. At the time of writing this, there are over 400 mainly Japanese students and 15 American teachers living all over the world. I myself have taught over 3000 classes and have really enjoyed talking to each and every one of them. My students are very special to me. Being a bridge between English learners and English teachers has been the pleasure and love in my life.

I know how difficult it is to find a good teacher. I've heard of students and bad teachers who didn't care about their learning. I don't want you to experience that again. I want you to be able to choose from the best teachers. I only hire teachers who believe in my teaching philosophy: passion, friendliness, fun, and a true desire for students to improve their English.
